Details description
Active Ingredients:
Each g contains Tylvalosin 500 mg.
Pharmacology
Tylvalosin tartrate is a macrolide antibiotic for animal use only. It inhibits the reproduction of bacteria by inhibiting protein synthesis. Its antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of tylosin. It has strong antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillinase resistant strain), Pneumococcus, Streptococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Listeria monocytogenes, Clostridium putrificum, Clostridium chauvoei, et al. It also shows antibacterial activity against other antibiotic resistant Gram-positive bacteria, but almost has no antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria. It has strong antibacterial activity against Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synovium. Bacterial resistance to tylvalosin is not easy to produce.
Interaction with other medicinal products
Tylvalosin has antagonism to chloramphenicols and lincosamide, so not suitable for simultaneous usage.
The antibacterial effect of β-lactam antibiotics may be interfered when combined with tylvalosin. Not suitable for simultaneous use when used for treatment of the disease which need killing the bacteria rapidly.
