[Ingredients and Concentration]
Live freeze dried vaccine containing≥3×109CFU/ dose Swine Salmonella choleraesuis.
[Properties]
A loosen, spongy and ash-colored gobbet. It can be disengaged from the bottle easily. Melt rapidly in the diluent.
[Indications]
The vaccine is used for prevention of Paratyphus of piglet.
[Application and Dosages]
Intramuscularly inject behind ear or by oral administration. Rehydrate the vaccine according to the doses of vials and vaccinate piglet up to one month of age or healthy weaned piglet.
5-10ml of reconstituted vaccine in cold cleaning water per dose be administrated by Oral administration or be mixed with cold feed to eat.
Intramuscularly 1 ml of the reconstitute vaccine in physiological saline solution containing 20% alumina gel per dose in piglet.
[Adverse Reaction]
Some piglets may have allergic reaction such as vomiting, hind limb stiffness, fever, and mucosa cyanosis after vaccination. Although these signs will be relaxed after1~2 days naturally, injection of adrenalin is recommended for serious conditions. No or less effective via oral administration.
[Precautions]
Vaccinate only healthy piglets.
Reconstituted vaccine should be used within 4 hours.
Vaccinate before weaning and revaccinated 21-28 days later.
Any antibiotics should not be used between the 7th day before vaccination to the 10thday after vaccination.
Oral administration before feed.
Disinfection the used instrument and containers along with the leftover vaccine.
